This was the conclusion reached, the last time we reviewed Andy's chances, 2 years ago. Murray's turn will come at Wimbledon I am sure..... maybe in 2012 to go with the Olympics in London and the Queen's 60th Jubilee as Virginia Wade won it in her Silver Jubilee Year in 1977!! ::) ;D So can he win through tomorrow, and then take advantage of Nadal's injury ? Or is it a year too early ?

Murray certainly upped his game on Monday when he beat Gasquez, although IMHO I thought that his opponent made it easier for him than I expected by not attacking Murray's 2nd Serve (still his biggest weakness on grass) early in the game..... this enabled Murray to reduce his 1st Serve speed slightly and increase the percentages on that leading to a comfortable win. Hopefully, Murray will have learned something from that..... 8-)
Nadal's injury is the only question mark over the "big 4" reaching the semi-finals, if he is not 100% then Mardy Fish could beat him, but based on the way that Nadal beat Del Potro I can't see that happening..... :-/
So, Nadal v Murray will be the first semi-final and Murray will have to keep his first serve percentages very high to beat one of the best "returners" the game has ever seen...... if Murray can do that and Nadal is not 100% fit, Murray can win..... but for me Nadal will take it 3 sets to 1.
Djokovic isn't quite as good on grass as the other 3 big players and he hasn't really been fully tested by any of his opponents so far..... he should win today but I can't see him beating Federer who is looking a class act again this year.
So, Federer v Nadal in the Final..... Federer to win in 5 set classic. 8-)

Difficult to see a winner from outside this top 4, and another vote for Federer here. But I think Andy will go one stage further and make the final.
Nadal has been unbeatable when able to serve big and deep and finish the point off quickly with a volley, but Murray appears stronger in all departments this year - including the return of serve.
Djokovic has proved to be a consistent performer on the circuit, losing only one match in the last year, but Federer is now playing for fun and finding some incredible angles. He seems more able than anyone to cope with a 5-setter, and driven on by the quest for a seventh Wimbledon title to equal Sampras, I think he'll do it - against our man.

A terrific performance by Tsonga to knock out Federer after being 2 sets down, if he can maintain that form he could well reach the Final.
Brilliant to see Murray play so well, Nadal next for him....... which will be a big ask as Nadal seemed to be fully fit when he won today.
Anybody's guess now who will win the Mens Singles this year, which is great for tennis.... 8-)
Sharapova v Azerenka for me in the Ladies Final...... who will win..... well, I guess whichever one of them grunts the loudest on the day. :o ;D

The ladies, hmmm, there's not a lot between Petra Kvitova and Azarenka. Both are good on serve. Sharapova will have to be at her best to beat either of those two, and I've been impressed by the unseeded German Sabine Lisicki - who she has to get past first. My crystal ball is telling me Kvitova.

I think Novak Djokovic may take it this year, he seems to have gone unnoticed and is in great form. He'll still have to be on the top of his game to beat Nadal in the final tho

Well, there were no votes for Andy, and the general consensus is that he just wasn't ready.....playinging one good set isn't quite enough, he needs to be able to sustain it. How about tommo's tip for the ladies., though? My crystal ball is telling me Kvitova. Awesome, only her first grand slam title - but first of many, surely.
