I see that you're safely back from the CI then Bernie. Did you have to put all your cats in a cattery, bet that cost a bit ;) ;D

I see that the alcahol hasn't worn off yet then. If you look just 3 threads down Newbie you will see.

Looks right to me Tommo, that was the one that turned out to be a "narrow" Sams - no good for league, but still great fun for friends and family which is what gom says he bought it for. The very tatty Riley that you put in an offer for was in St Agnes Bernie: cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160150470231

Sorry Q, I'm not exactly what you would call close to you. South Somerset. But have family living in Newquay and Penzance, so travel down that way several times a year. Hence was fairly easy to collect the table from there. If the table which i bought is a narrow "sams", what size should it be? As Ros says above, it's for home use, so size in this case really doesn't matter, but curious anyway. This table is approx.76"x 34 1/2" .
Narrower tables tend also to be slightly longer. The dimensions for our three-pin tables are 72" x 36". -tommo
