Hello
My late father used to run a pub in Hatfield in the 1970's called the Robin Hood, which had bar billiards tables I recall.
I have found amongst his effects an old, slightly battered, pewter tankard, for the the "National Bar Billiards Association".
Might this be of interest to anyone?

Hi Julian,
I am sure that this will be of interest to the Forum Owner, "Sav", who has a collection of such items. Unfortunately, he has gone away for a few days, so can't reply now.
I will however copy this into his Inbox to await his return.
Many thanks. tommo

They also turn up on Ebay quite regular, and make very little money, which is a shame because it is part of the history of our sport.

Thank you both for your messages.
I can see the tankard is only worth a few pounds on Ebay, and I am more interested in advice as to the right home for it.
Regards
Julian

Hi,
Back from Manx GP Motorbike Racing.
Yes I have a couple of those and would give it a good home. The AEBBA secretary Dave Alder has asked me if I wanted to sell any of my memorabilia, which I don't, so he might also be interested.
Is it a pint or half pint tankard please?
Sav
