Nelson v Cavalier Postponed match.... Usual story everyone knows except the SECRETARY :( >:( It looks as if we are going to have a backlog of matches to be played before the end of the season. That is about 6 matches that have been canceled so far, some with good reason and some not. What is the point of having the 4 player rule if teams are just not going to bother with it. Two Section 3 teams have canceled at least two matches, who both have 8 players signed on each, so I would have thought they would have been able to turn up with at least 3 players and use the 4 player rule, to avoid the match being canceled. Has it come to the point when we must leave all special dates on the calender off the fixture list, ie; Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Xmas, Valentines Day, Easter, May Day, etc, etc. I hope not, otherwise it's going to make a very long and boring season. Keith. (Competition Secretary) >:(

Nelson v Cavalier Postponed match.... Usual story everyone knows except the SECRETARY :( >:( Mr Secretary, when do you propose we play this match? Most of our team are still in competitions (some next Tues) Monday nights are out of the question because of the Wallingford league, other players in our team play darts on mon, tues & weds. Thurs nights are all pre booked with league matches/competitions. Looks like we'll have to give up another weekend night >:( >:( >:(
