County Champs Div 1 Oxon A Sussex A Berks A Kent A Hants Oxon B
Having six strong teams this year should make for some very exciting and close matches, with our first match of the day against our "B" team being no exception!
Am I right in thinking that there have been no trophies for the Runners-Up for the last few years? if so, I think this is wrong, as the AEBBA rule states that trophies are awarded to Winners, Runners-Up and Highest break.

Speaking for the second division, runners-up trophies were awarded the year-before-last, but not last year. Despite the Treasurer's flamboyant attitude, I am glad that this has been pointed out. ;)

I assume it is as per last year all games 11am for an 11.30am start??? Believe so Chris, moved this and my post here as it seemed more appropriate to leave Dave's diary to him. Sav

Yes it was a good day and Sussex were imperious after losing to us in the first match, thrashing challengers Oxford in the last match. Several tables required a little thought, but were not that difficult. Bershire pipped us in the last series when either team could have finished runners up.
Thanks to Dave for his tireless work. I had further to go than anyone and could not stop to help clear up but I hope that not everyone was involved the mass exodus as soon as proceedings finished.
Sav.

Well done to Sussex A - especially considering the competition was stronger due to there being an extra team. 8-)
