Gardeners B 3 Duke of Wellington 2
Bill Kerr 10,960 - 970* Kim Hurley Two good breaks (4.6k and 6k) from Bill made sure of the win. ;)
Tony Jenner 7,110 - 1,910* Nick Simmonds A nice 5k break from Tony put him in charge with Nick unable to close the gap. ;)
Dave Ingram 0 - 11,690* Mark Senior Plenty of good shots from Mark to keep his opening break going, touching up on 11,670 just after the bar dropped. 8-) :'(
Colin Green 2,890 - 5,370* Tim Scotney Tim opened with a steady 4.6k, Colin had a couple of chances but pegged the first time he got the break back and then coming off on 2.5k on his next visit. :(
Rick Cunningham 3,620 - 3,290* Gary Frizzell A scrappy last game, Gary missed his opening break shot but was first to get the balls back and knocked in 2.5k, Rick got the break back half way through the game and managed to get into the lead.... with both players having chances it turned into a nervous last few minutes for both teams and Gary was on the table when the bar dropped but found himself 230 behind with just 1 white ball left at the end. Ricky gratefully put the last ball in the 100 hole after Gary had just missed the 200. 8-)
A nice sausage casserole to keep both teams warm.... a very enjoyable evening in good company. ;D

Romans 2-3 Bib & Tucker A
Rose McGuiness 1080 - 1170 Darren Robins - a close and tense game with Darren sinking the 100 for the victory
Matthew Knight 3640 - 2090 Kenny Tinnion - I got a few off the break but was mainly a poor effort as the balls spent most of the time behind the black peg. To Kenny's credit he kept potting them but not enough time to catch me up
Dave Nicholls 480 - 7480 Ryan Berrett - excellent score from Ryan but Dave did have a few chances - four visits in a row where he scored a grand total of 0 ::) :-[ Once that was out of the way Ryan was in awesome form, enjoying the table and finishing off with an excellent 3800 break. Dave was dressed like a cowboy - the problem was he also played like one ;D
Dave Roberts 1300 - 1650 Phil Reay - Dave had a bit of a nightmare leaving the break short early and then it was a bit of a battle at the top end of the table. Dave had enough for the win but lost his break when missing a tough ball behind the 30 and that left Phil just in front to win the match
Oh dear the Bib only turned up with 4 but still went away with the win :'( and captain Hunt was not best pleased with our performance (rightly so). Plenty of savage verbal abuse from Kenny towards me........or maybe it was the other way round ;) ;) Still, as always a very enjoyable evening with the Bib (although even better when we go there) - not sure what happened with the food.....seemed to be plenty but some of us ended up with just one roll, must just have been a greedy crowd tonight ;D
Was reprimanded for a 'disappointing' report last week - hope this one is an improvemt ::)

Atlas 2 Albion 3 Turned up at the Atlas about 8.10, to find the table had been moved to the Resturant with no lighting :o after much discussion Matt eventually put the light up at 8.40 :) All games went with the break, Wins for Brian & Matt from the Atlas, Bella, myself and Alan for the Albion. Am sure Little legs will put the scores up later 8-)
