I put this note up for them back in August, Nigel........... The County Championships are a long way off this year - 20th November (after Jersey in fact) - so Surrey have plenty of time to decide whether they want one team or two. Last year only the A's took part. So if you want a Surrey B, they would join the A's in the second division. And of course don't forget to let the Tournament Director know in advance ! But the response was deafening in its silence ! Why, I'd even have played for them myself if they were short. ;) I should be able to let you know one way or the other later today, I've just been shopping and Colin Robbins left a message on my ansaphone that he'd be phoning back.

Hi Nigel, I can now confirm for definite there is only one team from Surrey.
It looks like you have 6 teams which makes for a nice competition, and Surrey are looking forward to the opportunity of playing more games than usual !

Yes thanks for chasing Tommo, quite a relief in a way as the format for div 1 can be reused so no extra work for me! Yay!

Excellent win for Sussex B, great team effort, special mention for Rick Dewdney who won all five on the day. Thanks to Dave Alder for organising.

Well done Sussex B, having got the results from Dave it is interesting to see that Sussex B outscored Sussex A over the same number of legs, 233,590 - 219,300. Sussex B had the top average per man in this years county champs (div 1 and div 2) of 6,674
