Blue Lagoon 3 - 2 Bib & Tucker B
C.Oakley 3100 - 1460 K.Tinnon P.Hickman 700 - 4130 R.Berrett D.Driscoll 2760 - 1730 A.Reay L.Hickman 3110 - 1480 P.Reay K.Knudson 930 - 1670 D.Robins
Table has gone downhill but ironically it's because the table is now uphill! Lovely table before, but is now a lot trickier with rolls and lips everywhere.
Chris started us off well with a hard earned 3k, getting on the break when he needed to and keeping scores. 1-0
Pete's current form hasn't been strong of late, but not taking anything away from Ryan, he played well and got the highest score of the night with 4k (he asked me to write that!) 1-1
Danny did well to keep Andy off the table and kept scores when he needed to. 2-1
I controlled from the start although was off very early, should've tripled my score the amount of times I got the break back but the 1 up sat on the lip of the 50 no matter what I did. 3-1
With the win in the bag, the pressure had been lifted from our rookie K.K. who is ever improving and gave Darren a run for his money in the first half but unfortunately didn't keep enough of his scores to finish him off! 3-2
Good games and a laugh, the Parrot had a lot to say tonight, overloaded with pizza and chips that never got finished!

Bib & Tucker A 2-3 Romans
Paul 'the Destroyer' Bramhall 310 - 4310 Dave Nicholls Chris 'the Monster' Pemberton 5770 - 2300 Ross Pettiford Alex 'the Mad Axe Man' Matthews B/P - 10,140 Matthew Knight Spencer 'Egor' Noble 3220 - 2460 Dave Roberts Richard 'the Enforcer' Dene-Morel 1250 - 1790 Toni Hunt
First off, apologies for the 'nicknames' of the Bib team. 'Taxi' Chris insisted they were typed on so unfortunately you have them ::) ???
Anyway, as for the game Sleepy got us off to a good start with a nice 3K break, Paul not really getting a look in
Taxi was off quite early and then Ross got the break back, when he came off scores were dead level. Chris then pulled away late on for the win but thought both players had pretty good games
Alex had no real chance as 3K off the break and then he missed a couple of shots and I got the break back and managed to get a 5050 break before touching up
Close game between the two elder statesmen - Spencer was off early and Dave got the break back only to mess it up. Spencer added a few each visit to set up a decider
Nervy decider as Toni was off quite early and Richard played a couple of nice shots, but it seemed he either missed a ball completely or knocked a peg over to negate the good shots. He was on a 'winning' break when he missed the ball totally and the bar went, but that was not the end as Toni decided she would go for the 200 with the last ball telling us it didn't matter because she could not win ::) ::) Fortunately she then realised she was actually in front and gave that idea up to ensure the win ;)
Thanks to the Bib for a good night with plenty of laughs and a fine spread from Richard. It seems appropriate to say at this point that this will be our final game at the Bib & Tucker because it closes on Saturday 10th December, extremely sad but leaving behind some good memories.
With that in mind please remember that there is a Committee Meeting at the Bib on Sunday 4th December and would ask that Committee members make every effort to attend as it now has extra significance - I hope everyone has kept up with my ramblings!
