Dun Horse BFZ Railway 5
Dave Simmons 2160 Mark Davies 3460 Colin Bolton 1580 Mick Cork 3090 Stuart Hope 1830 Steve Merriott 6030 Grant Hope 3900 Nigel Worsfold 4740 Scott Hope 4090 Mick Clack 6020
Game 1: A vicious roll cost Bogmeister his opening break. Dave unable to take advantage. Game 2: A bit of a scrappy game, Mick got a break going in the closing stages. Game 3: Sniffer left his opening break short – you don’t see that very often. He didn’t do it again! Game 4: A cracking game, closer than the scoreline suggests. Nigel’s crucial break at the end took the game. Game 5: Another good game. 2k+ each to begin with and another 3k from Clacky to finish.
Oh dear, another BFZ for the Dun!!! :'( It does however help the Railway. A fun night with plenty of banter and quite a few laughs. (some at Tommo’s expense – wait til you see Sniffer next ;D) rounded off with a tasty spread of sarnies.

Springbok 0 Roffey Club 5
G. Marshall 920 D. Howlett 6750
Twiggy initially struggled with break letting Gary put together a score only to find WP. Twiggy's next visit saw a 1.5K break and again Gary came back at him only to WP again :(. Game put out of reach with Twiggy's next visit of 4.5K.
K. Nixon 1120 L. Cable 3470
Lee could not find the break and Ken having not played for weeks whilst recovering from a broken leg struggled to get to grips. Lee however managed to put some decent breaks together to claim the game.
B. Hicks 2320 G. Owen 2330
A great little battle this one, with Glen taking the early lead, no massive breaks but a game that kept us all on the edge of our seats. Bill edged in front with the last ball up, never misses the 100 pocket, Oh yes he did this time :'(, Glen made no mistake to pinch the game.
T. Goacher 1900 P. Fisher 5340
Pete flew out of the block having no trouble with the break, however having put points on the board he left balls up short letting Trevor in, who was going well until a mis cue lost the points and after that it was one way traffic. To say Pete may have had a little luck may be an understatement, but boy some of his shots were breath taking.
G. Jarrett 110 (BP) D. Cable 7440
Dick was always in control of this game stringing together 2 decent breaks of 2k and 4k. Graham is still getting to grips with the game and is finding it hard to put any scores together, though he just loves the BP.
A great night, plenty of raucous banter and some singing from the away team, (They only sing when they're winning ;D)
Lovely spread of grub supplied, homemade meatballs, spare ribs, chips and fresh rolls, mmmmmm
