Sorry this is a bit late but I have had to wait for results from previous "Play By" games so that I could get as many games as possible on a Thursday. I will attempt to get the draw sheets to all venues asap.

Ernie asked the barman if it was fancy dress as he was wearing a SWINDON TOWN Shirt ;D Yes unfortunately the landlord of the club is a Swindon Town supporter! There is always a lot of banter about it! ;D Yes, Dave beat Alan with Alan conceding after the first game.

Off the Spot at Marlborough Club, Didcot
Steven Sheard :) 7,520 beat Dave Tooke 6,560
Steven was 6,560 up in the first game having made a 5,000+ break. Dave came back well in the second game but not enough to beat Steven.
Pauline Withey :) 7,970 beat Mike Jones 6,700
Mike started well in his first game opening with a 6,520 break but really had a problem with top of the table cushion shots after his opening break. Playing from the right hand side of the table was not easy with his long cue and as we were playing Off the Spot there were more cushion shots than with a normal game.
Pauline opened up with just over 2,000 and then had another break taking my score over 5,000 having been behind by 4,620 in the first game. Mike didn't keep any score after his opening break in the first game.
Nice friendly evening with all three matches arranged for the Marlborough Club being played on the same evening. :) :)
