Hello, I don't know if anybody can help me with some information? ;)
I run the Sussex Website and I am in the process of an update of some of the old Inter League records..... ::)
If anybody could let me have first names for the following players who have represented Redhill in the Inter League Competitions it would be much appreciated......
Dave Jones (not a lady player!) ;D
Roland Musk (R Rusk)
Shauna Nichols (maiden name - S Douglas?)
Any assistance will be gratefully received.... ;)

One name that I had missed off the original list.....
A Blackman (lady player, Anita? She played 3 games for Redhill B in 2007/08, winning 2 of them and ending up with a nice 5k+ average. 8-))

Yes, that's Anita, as you say a very capable player. Formerly Coppard.
M Greensted might be Maria, wife of Jimmy, SilverFox will be able to confirm.
R.Rusk - could be a misprint ? We have a Roland Musk.

We have a Roland Musk. regards tommo Yes, I seem to remember that Anita played against us (Mid-Sussex) at Hurst Club, scored about 7k and played very well...... luckily, the rest of her team didn't do quite as well as I think we won 6-1! ;D M Greenstead played only 1 game in 2005/06 for Redhill C, lost with a score of 180 - so maybe they are a good darts player! ;D There is nothing to indicate that it was a lady (Mario used italics on his spreadsheets to indicate that usually) but that doesn't mean that it couldn't be Maria..... ??? R Rusk (Musk) played one game for Redhill A in 1997/98 Season, losing with a score of 390...... if that helps to prompt anybody as to who he may be? ::) ;) |

I think that Shuana Nicholls was Shuana Douglas before she married Alan a few years ago.............

S Douglas played 3 games in 2004/05 and Shauna Nicholls played regularly from 2005/06 Season onwards..... so, if she did marry Alan about then, you may have found the solution. ;D |

D Jones played 1 game for Redhill B in Division 3 of the 2004/05 Season Home & Away Inter League, unfortunately lost with a score of 0. :o The only reason that I think it could be a lady player is that Mario (who ran the Sussex Website then) has put the name in Italics, which was his way of denoting a lady. ;) It could well be that it isn't a lady at all, which could mean that it is Dave Jones I suppose, if he played the one match in the same team as Caroline? He certainly didn't play for any other Redhill team that season...... perhaps, after scoring 0, he borrowed a wig and one of Caroline's outfits as a disguise...... :o ;D Aplogies to Dave..... the last part of that paragraph is not meant as a serious suggestion that he would normally do anything like that at all! :-[ ;) The most likely solutions are either that there is a lady "D Jones" or that Dave has been marked down incorrectly as a lady..... :o :-X I can see that I am going to get in trouble.... again..... over this post! ;D |

We're playing against the Limes A tonight, a team which includes Dave, Caroline and Shuana, so I'll make a point of asking them (without any references to transvestitism of course :o ::))
That way we can kill three birds with one stone :o ;D.

Shuana Douglas and Shuana Nicholls are one and the same.
As far as we are aware, there ain't no other Redhill player known as D Jones, and D Jones definitely ain't no lady. :D
