Well done to the Flying Scud A (aka Garland A) for managing a creditable Runners-up placing in this year's National Team Championships at Reading.
In the Final they played the Caversham WMC from Berkshire, who have become regular participants in the event in recent years.
Jason Wadsworth and 'guest player' Gary Powell were on the break and well-placed at one stage, but it was the Berks players who stuck at the table, triumphing 3-1, thus denying Colin Robbins, waiting in the wings, the chance of a deciding final frame.
