The scores tell it all, really: South Park B quite pleased to come away with 2pts from what could have been a very one-sided match.
Flying Scud A 3 South Park Con Club B 2 Geoff Jukes 15,420, *Paul Trottman 450 *Cliff Wayland 5150, Josie Pitt 5870 Jason Wadsworth 4340, *John Turner 2570 *Simon Tinto 12,620, tommo 1100 Colin Robbins 2170, *BB Reaper 9630
Heroes on either side: Jukesey added a break of 8k to his opener of 7k; Josie did well to win against the break; Former Jersey finalist Simon opened with 5k and added 7k on his second visit; The Reaper posted an immaculate opening break of 6010.
Nice table, pleasant company, good food (though tommo didn't see any of it as he's on a crash diet ::) )

Crash diets don't work, sensible eating, exercise and a balanced diet do.
Question, I see that away teams have breaks 1 , 3 and 5, are the games equal or chase the break?

Crash diets don't work, sensible eating, exercise and a balanced diet do. I agree that sensible eating, regular exercise and a balanced diet are adviseable for a healthy body. But once that body has been abused (like mine was last Tuesday with a mega chinese meal) and the waistline starts expanding at an alarming rate, the only way to buck the trend is to go on a crash diet: I've done it before, three times, and each time have lost a stone in ten days. The skillful part then is in the avoidance of returning to old ways and putting it all back on.

We used to have that break sequence when away teams were allowed practice on the board before a match. We then went to no practice, but the home team had breaks 1 & 4 purely because it was fairer for the away team to 'see' what the table does rather than being forced to break without any knowledge of conditions. Tommo, seriously, you can give yourself problems with what you're doing :-/ especially at your age ;)
