Springbok 1 The Fountain 4
T Goacher 1480 T Andrews 1750
Terry started well putting points on board, Trevor not doing much at first visit, when he did win break back left it short. Nip and touch to the end, Trevor needed 200 with last ball to claim the game, but was not to be.
K Nixon 1040 J Greensted 5190
Jim Started with a modest break leaving ball short, Ken could not capatilise. Jim then hit 3+ K putting him firmly in control leaving Ken too much to do. To be fair Jim could of got a lot more but gave his opponent the opportunity of table time, so for that I applaud him.
G Marshall 270 (BP) L Yeo 1530
Gary was firmly in control of this game until the red was left awkwardly behind the black peg. He could of easily have swerved an attempt to hit it but he took it on at his cost. Lou did play well to get her points, and took the game.
G Jarrett 890 B Lawson 1860
Another game similar to the previous game with Graham hitting a decent score only to lose the points hitting the white Peg. otherwise an even game with both players playing well. Barry got the measure of the break, which is not that easy at times.
B Hicks 2740 G Packham 1030
Gary found the table challenging with Bill putting together a decent break with first visit to nose in front. Though Gary tried to get the break back it just would not happen and Bill steadily increased his score to claim the game.
Hey Springbok has reached double figures in the league table, so not all bad.
Things are on the up ::)
