Only three down on last year, with Surrey, Sussex and Oxon well represented as usual.
I'd say that's pretty good. :-/

Thank you for the messages for my win on Sunday :-* :-*
I am really pleased to have won this competition this year, especially as I wasn't feeling too good for the first couple of hours of play, (low sugar levels I think after the drive from Oxford :-/).
I would just like to say a big thank you to Caroline and Dave Jones for an excellently run day on Sunday. The timing was perfect and we finished exactly on time, Well Done !!! Also a big thank you to Gary and everyone that helped to make the day a big success, Colin for the excellent food all day and to Dave and his daughter for delivering and picking up the tables. It was lovely to see a few young players as well, hopefully they will all keep playing.
The tables were very well set up and some really good breaks were recorded, including Denise Wills with an 8,100 break and also Sandra with the best break of the day with 10,550. Well done Sandra on achieving your first break and score over 10,000 (Break 10,550 and sore 11,830 in fact) :)
See you all at the Surrey Open.
Pauline :-* :-*

Well done Pauline on winning the BIOC Ladies title and without losing a single leg all day. 8-)
That put's her level with Jean Brackenridge on four wins each, I think ?
Unlucky to Sandra, who nearly made it back to back wins.

Well done Pauline Sent from my GT-S5830 using ProBoards Cheers Nige, I was told by Pauline that she was level with someone but I couldn't remember who that someone was, so, going by your March 2011 Newsletter I tried to think who it could be. www.aebba.org.uk/newsletter/2011/March.pdfAre you saying that Sue has only won 5 titles, surely not! :o Keith

You're right Nige, as Pauline was told on the day that Sue Mariner had won it 4 times but in fact it is 5 times because on the cup it's got her maiden name of Sue Banting as well.
