Springbok Club 2 Alfold SC 3
B Hicks 1610 R Burgess 3030
Rob did not find the break letting Bill in, who managed to take a reasonable lead. Rob struggled until late in the game when he put together a decent break to snatch the win.
G Jarrett 1380 G Fisburn 2290
A very similar game to the first with Gaz coming in at the death to claim the game. A valiant effort from Graham, but the experience of Gaz won through.
K Nixon 2050 D Slater 1450
Dave struggled with the table, whilst Ken steadily built a good lead. Dave did start to get the measure of the table late on, but time was against him.
G Marshall 3020 M Greening 2570
The Major missed the break allowing young Gary the opportunity to build a strong lead. Major beavered away and the old sage started to ply the pressure, but Gary held his nerve to claim a good win.
T Goacher 2220 C Greening 2450
Minor was dragged out of retirement and did his job taking an early lead. Trevor then put together a decent break to get his nose in front. Nip and tuck with the lead changing all the time. Then as the bar dropped Minor cleared the final 5 balls to seal the victory for Alfold.
A great performance from the bottom team, who were worthy of a win. Alfold lads fantastic, great banter, plenty of ale, some decent grub and then a pleasant stroll home. Oh how we love local derbys ;D

Rearranged match result.... Dun Horse 2 - 3 Stout House A Grant 3540 - 7460 Adam Dave 5420 - 1430 Pete Stuart 2050 - 3510 Sam Scott 5640 - 1180 Tony Colin 2010 - 3170 Tidy Thanks to the Dun lads for rearranging the fixture, a pleasant evening & some lovely sarnies! Game 1: Sk1ppy opened with 3k9, Grant followed with 3k. Skippy added with another 1k then 2k. Grant had chances but pushed too hard. Good Game to watch. Game 2: Pete and Dave both made it look hard. Dave got going and finished out for 3k. Game 3: Scrappy game most of the way. A couple of steady breaks from Sam at the end took it. Game 4: Scott opened out an early lead and stayed in front. Game 5: Tidy opened with 2k then the game turned scrappy. Colin closing in later but ran out of time. A 3-2 result was probably expected one way or the other. Games 3 & 5 could have gone either way. As Sk1ppy said, a pleasant evening spent in good company.
