Congratulations to BB Warrior on becoming a Distinguished Master. This honour is achieved by anyone making 5,000 posts and Dave has achieved it, thanks to a little nudging and goading recently from Gandalf and Enzo. ;D ;D Keep up the good work, your eminence ! ;)

Congratulations BBW, how does it feel to be a rarity, as only Tommo has achieved that milestone before, in this Forum ;D ;D ;D

Congrats Dave without your input the forum would not be as enlightening, and many a discussion would not get of the ground. Your passion for the game and its running has to be admired. Certainly with more like you we would not have the apathy of just accepting things as they are. Keep up the good work, including your work on the Sussex website which is always up to date, and informative.

Oh dear, I seem to have gained a bit of a reputation on here.... :o :-[ That's what too much rabbit does for you ;D ;) :) 8-) Nice one Dave...well done...and a special award for some of the longest posts too! ;D ;D cheers Tony Fully deserved as well....! ;D ;D ;D That's the problem with sometimes getting a bit too passionate about this game.... I do find a lot to say and (usually) a lot of words to say it in as well! ::) :-[ ;D But I don't just like talking about the game, playing the game is more important.... when Colleen saw this post she couldn't stop laughing.... Well done Dave You really need to get out more! We've both forgotten what a night in is and she's convinced that I'm trying to make it an 8 day week so I can fit a few more games in each week! :o 8-) ;D ;D ;D But, all joking aside, I will be the first to admit that I love this game and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who makes it possible for us to play... The people that willingly give up their time, often with very little thanks, to run and administer the Leagues in which we all play in week in and week out. To everybody who is involved with running the Opens and National Tournaments that many people choose to enter, we all need to support these Competitions and try to encourage more players to enter to ensure that they continue to thrive in the future, if everybody who plays in these could encourage just one new player a year to enter these it would make a huge difference. ;) To the AEBBA, especially Dave Alder, Mark Trafford and Nigel Senior.... Dave gives us all so much with running the AEBBA Tournaments, delivering the tables etc etc, while Mark looks after the Accounts and Nigel sorts out all of the Rankings that we all rely on. 8-) And, obviously, to the people that run the Forum. 8-) Our 3 Board Directors Sav, Tommo and Sparky, all the Moderators who enable everything to run smoothly.... and make sure that I don't overstep the mark - too often! ::) ;D Not forgetting our founder, Glenn Chubb, who certainly should be very proud of his contribution to the game. 8-) Last, but by no means least, all of the people that play the game and contribute here on the Forum.... we may not always agree about everything on here, but we all love the game and long may that continue. 8-) ;D ;D Ooops, it's turned into another long post..... sorry guys! :-[ :D

Yourself, tommo, and a few others keep this forum ticking over nicely with many interesting and knowledgeable posts, so, as TJ says, keep up the good work. 8-)
