Hi Eastbourne BB fans
My Proposals for the next season,
1. All matches to be played with double break, seems fairer particularlty as tables are generally difficult, and will make games more interesting and will produce higher average scores which will in turn improve player skills.
2. No plate competitions at all, not enough entrants and trophys too expensive
3. Competition draws done in one event so not redrawn at each round (to save time and effort as no one in eastbourne seems keen to organise the comps, also will reduce the length of the league season which is too long.
4 Competition matches to be played off league night but on specified dates again to reduce the length of the league.
5 alternative to 4, Only play home and aways once instead of twice and fill in with another comp.
Give it some thought boys and girl

Hi Eastbourne BB fans,
AGM now Changed by others to 10th July so will have to reschedule wantney mann 2nd leg match
Am resigning chairmanship due to the relative lack of enjoyment playing in Eastbourne and a league chairman needs to be 100% positive and forward thinking, see below proposals which may make playing in Eastbourne a bit more fun for participants. I will play for The star in Eastbourne if the league continues and would like to carry on as captain of the Eastbourne interleague team. Will be playing in Lewes league Mondays and Hastings on Wednesdays next season.
My Proposals for the next season, with additional comments from previous post
OR have only 1 home and away and play more friendlies with other league teams
6 get tough on collecting ALL fees at the start of the season and that includes Sussex comps, nothing more embarracing than putting names forward and getting promises of payment that dont turn up and then neither does the player.
Give it some thought boys and girl

PROPOSALS FOR LEAGUE FORMAT & RULE CHANGES – 2012-2013 SEASON Rule 33H will now be removed from the rules with reference to a marker will now be removed as it clashes with rule 38. Rule 34 will now be changed that all games in the league will be double breaks this rule change was agreed as it was felt that this would give more encouragement to the weaker players in the league or any new starters. Rule 39 and 43 will now change to start time of 8.00pm and table to be cleared of practising by 8.00pm. Rule 45 was read out again and ensured that all captains and players were aware of the rule regarding postponement of games however it was agreed that the secretary would leave a spare week in the first half and second half of the season which would allow for any postponements to be played any outstanding games must be completed within that half of the season.
