Hi Lorraine
I am dreadfully sorry about this but I am not going to be able to make tomorrow after all. My mother had a stroke recently (she is 98) from which she generally recovered but yesterday she took a turn for the worse - need to go and visit her.

We finally got there with a reasonable lineup in both competitions..........
Congratulations to Henry Brooks and Dave Knight who made it to the Final of the Premier Masters and will fight it out on Finals Night.
Many thanks to Sparky for officiating on behalf of the United Services Club, the curry laid on was most welcome! And of course for preparing two good tables, including Richard's Clayton & Keymer one loaned for the weekend.
Well done to Lorraine and Jean on the Admin Desk, and hopefully we can see some scores for both days' events soon. 8-)

Many thanks to Jean, Lorraine, and Sparky for a very well run event. A special mention for Sparky who gave me a lift home when I realised I had left my bar bills glasses at home. Also Jean who came to help from another league. Lorraine who as always ran a top show, making light of any problems.
