Tonight Father Hall Played Roy Wells on the New Handcross top.
Roy won the toss and decided to bat first. Roy's opening break went off with a bang. (Nothing) Father Hall retrieving the balls to win the 1st leg 3k+ to 2k+. After winning the first leg Father Halls confidence were on a high and took the 2nd leg with about the same scores.
I would like to add that the top is fantastic and should be seeing some 10k+ scores. (DO NOT MUCK ABOUT WITH THE LEGS) 8-) 8-)

Good to hear a report on the new top Kev, we had no idea it was coming!! we had, at Christmas complained about the state of the D and asked if it could be re-clothed over the Xmas break but were told that there was a 3 month wait, so we did the D ourselves and decided to wait 'til the end of the season. If its playing as well as you say (and continues to do so) I wont have any need to touch it at all. BTW hows the clock running? have you lengthened it to match Hurst yet??

Absolutely right Q when a table plays well there is no need to tinker, but what if it settles-in (or should that be settles-off ;D) or is treated to another bout of being moved or fiddled with by others (no names no packdrill :().

Jock Stuffed Andre Layzell off the table and out the room, across the street and into a waiting van, the van consequently drove off and dumped said Mr Layzell someplace unknown, with minimal damage to Mr Layzell.
Or in other words, Jock 2 Andre 0 with two breaks of 3k+ in the opener and a break 7850 in the second. Think Andre wished there was a van!!!!!!!!!!!
Also beat Roz in the other singles 2-0 on her own top, no great scoring but a satisfying win after she claimed home advantage.
