Wow, another supporter with taste ! If you count Phil Oakley that makes three-and-a-half of us, margo only counts as a half as though she comes to games with me she's a Liverpool supporter.
Lynn - there's plenty of mentions of AFC on this forum, I'm always going on about them. ;)

I think anyone who calls themselves 'womble' may be giving out a bit of a clue. But I take aboard what you say - stroll through Wimbledon early on a Saturday afternoon and the streets are full of youngsters in Chelsea shirts. >:( And as for that Josie, coming from Wimbledon, even once playing for the Emma Hamilton pub in Wimbledon - yet being a West Ham supporter........................ :'(

BUT I'm surrounded by West Ham now - what is a girl to do? :-[ One of the first songs my dear son sang, was "Bubbles"!!!!!! :'(

Clive Clive Clive
Don't - I'm absolutely crying with laughter. I've just forwarded it to Mick (although I'm guessing he's heard it chanted at a match or two already!!!!). ;D ;D ;D
Stop making references to parts of my body please. Anybody who doesn't know me is going to expect this young, fit, cute biceps type person with big (.)(.) - and along comes me!!!!! ;)

cheers 4 the welcome guys just to put the record straight i come originally from Wimbledon and womble is my nickname in Hurst sorry tommo :D Well I'm a "Womble till I die". The wife keeps feeding me, and I'm turning into the right shape, too. >:( The Wombles invaded Burgess Hill two years ago: 2,000 of us descended on the town and a double decker bus parked outside the Kings Head pub. At the ground I noticed Ian and Donna Williams and Russell Jennings (who play b/bs for the Watermill). They kept up a noise throughout the game, someone was banging on a biscuit tin, and they outsung us although their supporters were outnumbered by 100:1. After the game, they stood by the exit and 2,000 Wombles shook them by the hand. Football fans in the truest sense of the word.

and im NOT a wimbledon supporter but actually a CHELSEA supporter sorry tommo ;D :D :-* Ah well, there's no accounting for taste ! ;D We like John Terry though: He made a guest appearance at one of our pre-season friendlies and put his hand in his pocket and pulled out a cheque for £25,000 towards our trust fund. 8-)
