The draw has been made for the summer singles 2012 and this has been emailed to all correspondents (and posted to Terry C!!).
All these games must be COMPLETE (both rounds where applicable) by the end of August 2012 and there will be no extensions.
Please let me know if there are any contact problems and I will try and help.

The Witney Summer Individuals Finals will be held at Bletchington Sports Club on Tuesday 16th October at 8pm.
The semi finalists are;
Roger Bowen (Plough)
Tony Willis (Lamb & Flag)
Jon Bamsey (Red Lion)
Mark Trafford (Kennington SSC)
An excellent line-up and three of the four are formidable opponents ;D ;D Draw will be made on the night as will the Summer League presentations to Summer Cup champions Kennington Sports Club and Summer Shield winners, the Red Lion Cassington. It would be appreciated if both teams could attend in full!
Please come along and support this popular competition.

Many congratulations to Jon Bamsey of the Red Lion Cassington in winning the Witney Summer Singles competition. He played very well throughout the night on a tricky Bletchington table, including a double figure break in the final against Roger Bowen of the Plough Finstock
Semi finals
Roger Bowen 1 (8290) beat Mark Trafford 1 (6760)
Tony Willis 0 (5770) lost to Jon Bamsey 2 (10410)
Final
Jon Bamsey 2 (18680) beat Roger Bowen 0 (2730)
Many thanks to all who came to Bletchington last night and to our chairman, Roy Wain for presenting the trophies. The Summer league Cup was presented to Kennington Sports Club (4th year running and who were all there ;D) and the Summer Shield to the Red Lion (who couldn't be bothered to turn up apart from JB! :-/)
Thanks also to Jenny, Paul and Steve for scoring, to Pete Soanes for the lovely chilli at the end of the night and to the club for allowing us use of the table.
