Bit of an esoteric tip for table recovering.....but very useful. One of the problems when you are recovering is that the cloth makes a ridge around the pockets and you have to pull on the four points of the star that you have cut in the cloth in order to form the pocket. Sav suggested hanging molegrips on each of them but I found this difficult due to space limitations. When Jon and I were recovering our latest project, I made up some custom clips from kitchen towel clips (£2.50 for 15 on Ebay) and 3 ounce lead fishing weights (less than £1 on Ebay). One of these can be clipped on each of the four star points and pushed through the hole to tension the cloth. When the pocket ring is pushed tapped in, they pull the cloth down and then fall off, leaving the cloth flat around the pocket and perfectly tensioned. Useful for the lonely recoverer..... ;D Tony Attachments:

Yup that should also work well, but still have to keep your toes out of the way from below the hole!! ;D
