Happy Birthday Tony,
Hardworking Staff member and unsung hero of the Forum: Often the ONLY voice of reason ! ;D
I haven't any Rioja in my cellar at the moment, so we will have to raise a glass of Rose Moelleux to you tonight instead!
Best wishes,
Clive and Margo xx

Thank you all for the Birthday wishes. Nice evening, lovely meal and a bottle of 1995 Roda I from Rioja and some interesting footie on the telly when I was allowed...
Senility definitely set in in the morning when I was halfway through my shower before I realised I still had ONE slipper on... :-/
cheers Tony
PS No fishing today Keith but the Windrush looks perfect so very soon perhaps....

Keith Hi Keith There are long stretches of the lower Windrush that are fishable with a Newland AC ticket (open to all) and there are tickets available for Burford but the bits in-between are generally trout water so are preserved for that :( The chub are not huge but average 2-3 lb if you can find them with the odd bigger one. There are also still some huge roach and dace in there (difficult) with the odd perch and barbel... It's not the river it was due to otters, crayfish and abstraction but where is? cheers Tony
