Thank you all, yes it's been a great day so far, though it started with an early morning drama when the cat caught its first bird, a baby blue tit. Fortunately we were able to rescue it from the jaws of death and after letting it recover in a little box for half an hour we were able to release it on to the rose arch whence it flew up to the conifer to be reunited with its mother. 8-)
Sunday's a curry-free day so it was roast beef for lunch with a couple of glasses of wine, and a nice salad in a few minutes time with a few pear ciders. In between have fitted in some visits to and from the family, and a visit to the garden centre. A blissful time, really. 8-) 8-)
