Eastbourne have a 10,000 club, only a few members in it at the moment (unlikely to increrase very quickly ;D)

Colin Southouse
Nigel Pead
Chris Turner

Phil Osborne 23/01/13
When an player scores his 1st 10,000 score in a league match he will be presented with a glass tumbler engraved with "1st 10,000 score" and the "date" paid from Eastbourne League funds
We have also agreed to do the same for the 1st 15,000 and 20,000 league scores, we've invested a penny in a compound interest account to cover these costs! ;)

This is a very nice idea, 10,000 is still a goal for many players & should be recognised.
I did this for a while in Horsham with our 10,000 club & each player in that season got a certificate but some had several entries I haven't done it for a while but still value it.
The engraved glass is a good idea.

hi colin well if ur are a superstar and hit a 20k break you will recieve a lovely t-shirt and trophy which at the moment has been sat on chunky monkeys shelf for a while.

We have another entrant to the Eastbourne Over 10000 register

making a PB last week so very well done, commemorative engraved glassware will be arranged by the committee at finals night
Even 2 years ago it was rare to see 1 10K score in a season, this season to date in various comps and areas we have achieved 10 such scores. It's nice to see such a marked improvement over such a short period of time, who will be next?

New member in the 10000 club
Well done to Phil Osborne reaching his 1st 10000 points total in the eastbourne league last night he has had a few in the doubles this year but alas they don't qualify
An engraved tankard will be on its way for finals night, next stop 15k for a special Classified prize ::)
