With several steep hills, a long journey into work and rather a lot of snow falling in the Brighton area at the moment, Nigel could find himself stuck at home on his Birthday...... maybe he should have gone to West Africa in the sunshine after all! ;)
Happy Birthday Nige, hope you have a great day. ;D 8-)

Yes, Happy Birthday, Nigel,
A picture postcard birthday for you today, even if it doesn't turn out to be a White Christmas............... :-/
Hope you get a chance to put your feet up, with a glass of something and some back episodes of The Simpsons ! ;D ;D

Many Happy Returns Nigel
Can't wait until 2010 when I'm sure we will acquaint ourselves with each other again on the Bar Billiard table, not Guernsey though, as you have beaten me in the only two so far. :'( :)
Have a great day in the snow and don't forget poor old Milko, who will be performing his ice dance again tonight.!! ;D

Cheers guys....I wish I was in Africa!
My birthday started being stranded at Brighton Station after playing at the Swan (we won 4-1 me losing to an in form Adam Squires). A little bit of snow in Worthing became a lot of snow in Brighton. No taxis, no busses and a chinese girl breaking down in tears as the policeman said there was no way home.
When the girl started crying that was my cue to leave and find a hotel. I knew regg3y had been evacuated and was put up at the Jury Inn but did he answer his phone and sneak me in?....did he hell!
Got to the Jury Inn and found one girl in the queue signing in herself...............and 14 of her mates who were in the bar. Half an hour later I got to my room.
I was early at the station however the next morning to get to work! Finally home now and with my feet up, birthday meal postponed but shall make up for it over the weekend!
