Here are the fixtures for 7/11/07 :
Hurst B 5, Watermill B 0 CKRBL 4, Windmill 1 Plough 4, St Francis 1 Watermill A 4, Brewers Droops 1 Greyhound 2, Handcross Z 3 Brewers Bravos 2, White Horse 3 Sportsman v Hurst A - postponed.
Excellent hard-fought match with plenty of drama as the League Champions suffered a home reversal.
Greyhound 2, Handcross Z 3 Paul Goodwin 2240, tommo 2330 Neil Burchell 5510, MrMike007 2380 TIR 2590, Johnny 'Acid Bath' Haigh 3210 Geoff Fairs 2710, Graham Daniels 4170 Peter Burchell 4900, Barry Timson 4380
Though still consistently the best table in the league, the Greyhound had an alarming 'no go' area around the 100 hole. Much like his hapless opponent of last night, tommo squandered two separate breaks of 2k and had to pull the fat out of the fire by potting the last 100. Both Burchells accounted for Handcross's two form players of the season so far. TIR uncharacteristically made no impression on a rejuvenated Johnny Haigh who credited his win to a new pair of Specs. Graham Daniels put in an all-too-rare appearance to take the match and bonus point with a cracking break right at the end.
Thanks to the Greyhound for a sporting and sociable evening, and to the venue which provided more food than both teams could eat. ;)

Well done Zeds all five games pretty tight with the table not playing quite as well as usual.
I waswell beaten but with two chances I have no excuse just one of those nights.
Thanks to our opponents for making a very pleasant evening and good luck to all in or going to Jersey.

Rest of the results and a write-up from Roy Wells, followed by the up-to-date table :
Plough 4, St Francis 1 Plough stays top but only just after a home win over Saints. Shaun Morris put the visitors into the lead after winning the first; all square as Geoff Parsons took the next. He was followed by teammates Mark Webber and Keith Potter to make sure of the match and a walkover for Des Gasson finished the tie.
Hurst B 5, Watermill B 0 Hurst B close the gap at the top to just one point with a whitewash of the Watermill Newboys. Comfortable wins for Ian Giffen and Chris Kirkham to put the Bees 2 up. Big hits followed, first for Steve King (8490) then Paul Jobbins (7110) and finally for cap’n John Lear (5510)
Watermill A 4, Brewers Droops 1 Watermill A stay in close pursuit after dishing out Droops’ first league defeat of the season. Big Norm put the home side ahead, a lead quickly cancelled out by Richard Jeffrey who big hitted with 5330. John Staplehurst the bagged a big one for himself (5830) to put Watermill back in front. Kim Stenning then hit the best score of the tie (6840) to win the match, with a bonus from Chris Nikolaj in the last.
CKRBL 4, Windmill 1 Kleiners keep the middle ground after winning at home against a weakened Windmill side. Millers Steve Smith took his side’s only point when winning the first, Jenny Edwards and Shaky Coles took the next two and these, combined with the two walkovers gave them a comfortable although unsatisfactory win.
Brewers Bravos 2, White Horse 3 Bravos doubled their season’s point tally after this home defeat by White Horse. Brian Coleman put Horse in front, Adam Bateup pulled in back for Bravos. Giles Garnett regained the lead in the third and the all-important fourth leg went to Horse’s Colin Mansfield together with the win bonus. Nikki Hinkins took a consolation last leg for a treasured second point.
With most of the Hall family taking a long break in Jersey prior to the world championships, the match between the Sportsman and Hurst Club has been postponed.
