Thanks Kevin and Hayley for being fantastic hosts of this (unofficial) event. Once again it was a fabulous day in every sense of the word. The sun bore down as it did last year and I could not think of a better way to pass a Sunday afternoon. This was the summary from last year (on KT's Happy Birthday thread): Couldn`t have too easy a table now could we? ;) The winners were Phil & Ian (Yorkie) and they beat Ian & Margo in the Final. I feel sorry for Amanda, Steve & Trina who will have to listen to Ian all the way back to Doncaster on how he won the competition (with a little help from Phil of course) :) :) He has vowed to defend the trophy next year ;D Unfortunately no sign of the Yorkshire friends (hope their home is now sorted out after the floods) but we did get not one difficult table but TWO to play on ! And DA and Sandra's performance to Walk Like An Egyptian was worth turning up for alone. ;D Let's hear some more reports on how the day went, as many left rather the worse for wear ! 8-)

Always a pleasure to have so many friends round :). Thanks again to Phil for doing a great job on the Barbeque and well done to Lady H & HRP for winning such a tough ;D competition.
Unfortuately DA, we haven`t got the Macarena or Time Warp on CD, so it had to be the Ketchup song instead :P
I think there might be a couple of thick heads this morning, possibly form the Brackenridge camp 8-)
Lets hope the weather is as good again next year

A fantastic day, good company, food & wine plentiful (too plentiful for some!), entertaining & close games and some excellent music..... and dancing!! ;D ;D :-*
An unusually quiet and peaceful evening followed the day..... ::) ::)...... but glad to report that the batteries seem fully re-charged this morning and feel sure that the CD with the Macarena & Timewarp will be located in the near future..... :o :o :P
Congratulations to Lady H & HRP on your well deserved victory...... ;D
..... and many thanks to KT & Hayley for being such great hosts...... 8-) ;D

Thanks for the invite and thoroughly enjoyed the day, thanks to Hayley and Kev as hosts, Phil for sterling work at the BBQ. Bar billiards was entertaining with a wonderful forfeit hat to wear.
Entertainment from the dancers fantastic, all beit they tried to rope me in ( need to be well oiled for that I`m afraid). Weather ordered was just right, sorry some have large rears that break chairs. Talking of chairs the Chairmans seat was a sight to behold, hopefully someone has pictures to follow or is bribery to the fore to stop them being published.
Well done to the winners and again thanks to the hosts fron Tunstall Towers. TJ.

Believe it or not, my invitation was lost in the post! Those bloomin' postmen! Knowing your love for athletics, we wouldn`t have embarrassed you by sending an invite we knew you would have had to have turned down. ;) How was Crystal Palace anyway?

I'd like to add my thanks to Kevin and Hayley - superb hosts. What a great day in the best of company.
Well done to the pair who beat us in the final, but Adam Squire was a worthy replacement for my partner of last year Ian Lelliott.
Hope we get invited again, and if so I'm available as a partner to the highest bidder ! ;D

No Tunstall Towers this year apparently, but, by way of a replacement we are able to give you..................
.................for one year only..............
The Tommo Turrets Open. :o
Sun 26th July, chez nous, 12 noon till late afternoon/ early evening or till when the beer runs out.
For the usual suspects (friends of KT and Lady H) - also for anyone who has visited us before and knows how to find us. If we get, say, 24 that means we can run a Triples competition for 8 sets of 3. There will be trophies for winners and runners-up.
Hoping for a good day whatever the weather. Food and plenty of drink available, so just bring yourselves. ;)
tommo and margo.
