Great day out at Tommo`s today for the one off open. We ended up playing a triples round robin. The winners were Ian Lelliott, Lady H & Jean Brackenridge.
Tommo & Margo were excellent hosts, tons of food laid on.
A good time was had by all ;)

It was our pleasure, and although the gathering was smaller than anticipated and the sun refused to shine, we were all able to have some good laffs.
The Runners-up, Sir KT, Genette Nicholls and Alan Brackenridge deserve a mention as they finished tied on 12 points, but lost it on aggregate by 20420 to 23510 to Ian, Hayley and Jean.
Thanks to those who spent their day at our humble abode, and next year hopefully it's 'back to normal' at Tunstall Towers, although we wouldn't mind alternating if you think that's a good idea.

Thanks to Tommo and Margo for being fantastic hosts. Great fun day. Although must say thought Tommo was being a bit sheepish at times!! LOL Baaah ! ;D Glad you enjoyed it, Jean. Couldn't tempt you with Bacardi, but the vodka seemed to go down all right. ;) Surprisingly, from the scores, table 2 turned out to be better than table 1. ;D ;D

I'm guessing from the smileys that tables 1 & 2 were quite similar in design ;D

I'm guessing from the smileys that tables 1 & 2 were quite similar in design ;D Very astute of you, Q. In fact the only difference in them was that table 2 had mushrooms. ;D

We were led to believe it is harder to topple a mushroom but, Jim G had no problem, he managed to topple one every time he went to the table 8-) how clever was he eh? ;)
