Being increasingly at a loose end, tommo has bitten the bullet and registered an account with Beer In the Evening which allows you to pass comment on any pubs visited. Being a heart-on-the-sleeve sort of guy, I will be pulling no punches in the course of relating my experiences, which I will attempt to do in a light-hearted manner. I will of course be promoting bar billiards if no mention before, and equally if a pub claims to have a table and no longer does, that will be exposed too. Check out what I said about a certain pub in Reigate ! www.beerintheevening.com/user_comments.shtml?username=tommo5

Well, I've done 225 so far, and have eleven left to pass comment on:
Royal Oak, Jacobs Post Ship, Cuckfield Shakespeare, The Barbican Kings Beach, Pagham Rose & Crown, East Grinstead
XI Cricketers, Storrington Bull, Horley Flask Inn, Whitby Wheel inn, Helston California Tavern, Gt Yarmouth White Hart, Cranleigh
These are waiting to be added by B.I.T.E. on to their database.

The Eleven Cricketers in Storrington is no longer there. Thanks Roger, It always was a tiny place and even in the old days had erratic opening hours. The landlord was an eccentric, a wizened old boy with a white beard. When margo complimented him on the quality of the sandwiches he replied "they should be okay, I made 'em last week!" One less tale to recount, I suppose.
