Anyone got a real bogey player ? Someone who when the draw's being done you secretly think (fingers crossed behind your back), I hope I won't get so-and-so 'cos he/she always beats me ?
My own "little book of horrors" reveals that in 1987/88 I played a certain Kevin Stevens of the Horns Lodge a total of four times, Mid Sussex League home and away and County Inter-League home and away. It was one of my best seasons ever and yet despite him not really being a big name, he brushed me aside easily each time. Rest assured, should I ever come up against him again, he would be staring down the barrels of my "tommo gun" - in other words, I'd be gunning for him ! ;D

Surely noboby will confess to having a current bogey player, in case that player reads it and takes advantage of the situation.
But I have seen a member of this forum sitting in his car next to mine at traffic lights, trying desperately to find a bogey of his own. He didn't see me, but does that count?

LC, you could have at least put everybody in alphabetical order so that it would have been easier for the members of this forum to see if they had been included. ...and hasn't your asbo expired yet??? PS Perfect spellings in above. You must have a BBQ in front of you at work!!!!

You've just unwittingly coined a better name for "Asbo" - "ELSIE". ;D

No, I coined that a long time ago. KT= Katie, MT= Empty, LC= Elsie. But I will try yours, CT= Seaty. No, doesn't really work, does it?

ASBO-lutely not! I could never picture my poor little "Elsie" with a finger lost up any orifice, yours or anybody "else's". No, this one was not the tiny ones you get from your snout, darling, this one was a really big one, the size of a cricket ball with loose bits hanging off as if it had been tampered with by big Inzy (or is that libellous now he has been cleared); it was really truly massive!

I have one player at the moment that gets me. Only because of nerves and he only plays at home ::)
[glow=red,2,300]Liam Elmer[/glow]
Not Nicki, but his son. I am however planning to get him back. If he chooses to play at the Swan, I shall be waiting for him ;D He is a great future player too :) I reckon the future players of our game is in Cambridgeshire ;)
I always get drawn against him when I play the SMB :(
