Handcross Z 3, Brewers Bravos 2
Johnny Haigh 1990, Ponytailed Guy 2010 tommo 6260, Steve Dudman 100 MrMike007 3730, Lynne Moyes-Robb 1770 Alan Downs 3930, Liam Churcher 1090 Barry Timson 760, Paul Moyes-Robb 2500
A bit of a spawny win for the Zeds against the gallant Bravos, who were off to the finest of starts with a last-ball win by master Bate-up. MrMike007 had a scare in his game as Lynne Moyes-Robb was quickly a thousand ahead thanks to some good pots especially into the 100 hole. But he dug in and made a break of a thousand off the back end of the table before finally getting the balls back and adding another thousand to it. The mooing cow remained at home tonight but will probably be having an excursion to the Sportsman next week. ;)

Hurst A 3 Plough 2 ;D
Dave Ingram 2420 Des Gasson 2440 Having pegged a 3.5k break :'( half-way through the game, I then contrived to give Des the break back with my next shot :o A last minute clearance put me back in front :) only to leave the 100 shot short...! >:( Des made no mistake to take the game, leaving me only able to say an early "Merry Christmas!" . 0-1 ??? :'(
Roy Wells 6280 Geoff Parsons 910 An excellent 5k+ opening break from the "old fella" led to a good victory against previously unbeaten Geoff. 1-1 ;D
Kevin Hall 5900 Daniel Webber 1770 A comfortable win for the BB Reaper, despite not hitting top gear. 2-1 ;D
Peter Hall 3960 Malcolm Fuller 3210 Papa Hall, despite losing more points than he scored, held on to win in a close game to seal the victory for Hurst. 3-1 ;) ;D
Andrew Hall 1870 Mark Webber 2780 Andy had his chances, but found the White pegs were often in the wrong places for his balls again...! 3-2 :(
A good win for the Hurst Club!

Greyhound 4 Hurst B 1 Oh dear but well played to the Greyhound as Hurst B failed to match the home side.
Steve King took the opening leg despite pegging an early 1000 plus break. 0 1
Neil Burchell compiled a very nice 5K break to beat Dazza 1 1
IanG Kicked off with 1400 & Kieth Newsham struggled in the early part but brought it up & overtook & the knocked in a nice 600 to close the leg 2 1
player number 4 sorry don't know his name took leg 4 against Chris Kirkham 3 1
All hopes on Mr L V Peter Burchell in a captains game to reduce the damage but also struggled to conquer the table 4 1. some good play from the home team & plenty of nice hot chips & sandwiches.

Cantankerous not the word I would have used, apologies for the table on the night Ros, trust when I catch who's messing with it, the white van man will be paying them a rather nasty visit. :-/ :-/ That aside it was a good night with much fun and a copious amount of barricking from yours truly, and to be fair that furry thong you were wearing did its furry best to put us all off our strokes, :D :D :D

Five out of a possible seven match reports were lodged last week on this board - something of a record. And we got an official up-to-date table before the weekend. What a service !
Anyway, here's the missing reports for the other two, courtesy of The Old Fella............
Watermill A 2, CKRBL 3 A good result for Kleiners, away at Watermill A took to joint top, just one win behind Hurst. Ted Stringer pulled his boots in the last couple of minutes to grab victory from the jaws of defeat, lucky boy. Shaky Coles then hit a 3K+ break, his best ever to put the visitors two up. Kim Stenning then battled hard to just finish with the score of the match to put the brakes on Kleiners but Peter Edwards put in a good solid performance to take the fourth frame and the match. John Willis came good in last to take a much needed point for the home side but they are now bottom.
Windmill 2, Watermill B 3 Watermill B swap places with Windmill after beating them away this week. Steve Lathwell put Watermill in front, a short lived lead as Lynne Storr took the second for the home side. Sabina Williams hit her best score to take the next and all square again as Rodney Storr won the fourth with the ties best score. Into a decider which went to Watermill's skipper Martin Range.
