As some of you may have known, Kevin spent his birthday this year in hospital.
I have to report that following complications from a routine Op, Kevin is still in hospital where they are monitoring his progress to full recovery.
I am sure you will join me in wishing Kevin all the best and that he will be back on his feet very soon.

Hi all, its Hayley.
I would just like to let you know that following negligence in aftercare following Kevin's routine operation, he remains in hospital - but has today turned a corner at last.
His stats are slowly returning to normal, he is off the opiate painkillers and today came off the oxygen.
This past week has been a very scary struggle and I thank all those who have wished him a speedy recovery - I let him know your kind messages each time I visit him.
There are two amazing people (they know who they are) who I would very much like to thank for their support and kindness, especially today just when I needed it most.x

That's the news we've been waiting to hear and it comes as a considerable relief. From the sound of it Kevin was taken very bad and what a shock you must have been put through.
Hopefully he will now grow in strength by the day and soon be back and firing on all cylinders !
Best wishes,
Tommo and Margo xx

It's Hayley - Just a quick update, Kev had some food today his first since July 24th and so is why he enjoyed the carrot soup :o so much. When his roast turkey was served he requested cranberry sauce to go with it!!! Kev, it's a hospital not a restaurant....jeez, no pleasing some ;D ;D ;D

Perhaps it's been so long since his last BB game he thinks it's Christmas! Glad things are looking up. L & R.

Wonderful news Hayley,
Tell him to take it easy for a while, stuff like camel racing a definite no-no !
Livvy's Hello Kitty kit will come in useful ;D
I'm now going to toast the patient's health !

Hello everybody, thanks so much for all your lovely messages. Hayley has been relaying them to me everyday. She has been an absolute gem through all this, without her I don`t think i`d have made it. It`s hard to believe what should have been a reasonably routine op could go so wrong >:(
I have to go back Thursday for a scan to make sure everything has mended properly, so won`t be gracing any BB tables for a while yet ;)
Thanks again Look forward to seeing most of you in the near future :)
