Berinsfield b 2.5 v 3.5 gladiators
Deary me what an interesting night, with our gallant leader (guess who) showing up hideously late
chris plant 1720 v 0520 jenny webb (didnt see this one unfortunately, but heard it was a frenzy of attacking the black!) Adam ingram 0880 v 3470 bob pincombe (didnt see this one either so cannot comment :() Phil mcfarland 2670 v BP malcolm lee (i had no right to win this one with spawny shots and malcolm having to get 200 just to draw! Unlucky he was) Planty BP v BP jenny (heavabs above, a nil nil draw in billiards! Whats the world truky coming to :o) Ingram jr 1970 v 3330 bob (all about the gulf in experience here with the chairman clawing through) Yours truly and player extrordinaire ;) 1740 v 3500 malcolm (malcolm finally has beaten me and well deservedly too with me playing an awful shot to lose my break that couldve set me up!)
Was a fun night with many a laugh, shame about the darts teams manners though :/

When someone goes for the 200 and knocks the black peg over, they lose their score and the game is over, so whoever knocked the black over first looses (presuming the other player had some score)!

They wouldnt have it though, something about the game still being on as the ball is on the table still

AEBBA Playing Rule 26:
26. If only one ball remains, either in the rack or on the table, the break score should be recorded before the last shot is played. The last ball must then be played from the centre of the "D" into either the 100 or the 200 hole OFF ONE SIDE CUSHION. This is known as the ‘Last ball shot’. Before playing the last ball shot the white skittles should be placed in the 50 holes and the top holes guarded. If the ball strikes a skittle in the 50 hole and falls into the 100 or 200 hole the score will not count. Both players should continue to play the last ball shot alternately until the ball is potted or the black peg is knocked down.
There is one scenario in which the game could finish 0-0, though: If player A loses his/her entire score just before it got down to the last ball, and player B (with or without a score) went for the Last Ball Shot into the 200 to win, and felled the black. :P

Not trying to show up Mark, but the scenario nearly happened to me !
I was playing Sir Jock o'the Strap in an important Inter-League match recently. I lost my opening break on a peg (black one, trying to pick out a ball behind the 10 hole) and Jock almost played the table out for 12k-plus when the same thing happened to him!
The records show that I won by a miserable 300-130, but I remember the thought going through my head that, had he left me just the one ball, I might have been tempted to go for the 200, whereupon we might have reached an honourable tie ! 8-)
Mark has the important bit correct, though:
and there is a widespread unawareness of the existence of this wording at League level.
