Hurst Club 3 Sportsman 2
BB Warrior 9270 - 410 Gary Foster Gary missed the break, I put in a break of 6900 on my second visit to make sure of the game. 1-0 ;D
Papa Hall 1670 - 1170 Pam Peacock Surprisingly, Pete missed the first one-up and the game became very scrappy after that with neither really able to get going. 2-0 :)
Bobhall 1410 - 5330 Ros Appleby Ros got a good start and never looked back with Rob unable to maintain his recent good form. Ros made an excellent 2450 break half way through the match on her way to her highest league score. Well played Ros! :) 2-1 :(
BB Reaper 5110 - 2010 Rob Driver A solid start for Kevin gave him a useful lead which Rob was unable to close down. 3-1 ;D
Andy Hall 760 - 2780 Tony Driver Tony in command all the way through in this game with Andy on fine peg-hitting form....!! ::) 3-2 :( ;D
A good evening for the leaders extending their winning run to 7 League games with the usual Bobhall buffet...... including some lovely Cheese & Pickle sarnies - by special request!! ;D ;D ;D

Another slight shock, as the Zeds managed a win with a reasonable performance against the League Champions. Slightly fortuitous for the home side as the opposing captain was cruising to victory in the fifth frame, but lost a 3.5k break which if kept would have put him safe on 6000+ Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth, Supersub dominated the remainder of the game.
Handcross Z 4, Greyhound 1 tommo 3550, Geoff Fairs 550 Johnny 'Aceed' Haigh 5260, Neil Burchell 1190 MrMike007 4170, Paul Goodwin 4580 John Turner 3600, K Newsam 2590 Graham Daniels 4580, TIR 3110
The Zed captain is proud to be his side's lowest scorer of the evening. ;D Both sides were missing a vital member - Peter Burchell for the Hound and Barry Timson for the Zeds: we wish them both well in their recoveries. John Turner played with a heavily bruised arm after falling down some steps yesterday. Margo says thanks to Mick and Helena for the flowers, they helped to make her birthday a bit special. Finally, tommo says thanks to the Greyhound for being good company and sporting in defeat. You will bounce back !

Brewers Droops 4 Watermill A 1
Keeping in touch with Hurst Club is the order of the day.
Brewers having to concede the last due to ole sparkles being on his hols and both our supersubs ill, saved the Watermill A from the whitewash.
Andy F W 4460 Kim Stenning 1510 Richard Jeffrey 2710 John Staplehurst 1520 Lorraine Hall 4070 3100 Chris Nikolije (can't read the farmers writing) Colin Humphrey 1670 Norman Cragg 1620 W/0 John Willis
A tough evening wi Andy and Mama Hall finding some form on a difficult and slow top. Young Chris put in a good show against Mama Hall for the only light on the oppo side, I struggled with the pace or lack of it and ole noddy humphrey stole his match against a frustrated Craggy, on the last ball, 200 to win and dropped it on the third or fourth attempt.
No sign of the much fabled Mr Tarratt as yet!!!! So apologies to anyone who has to play on ours in the mean time. Young Mike is chasing him up sometime today. Hats of to tommo for a great top ova handcross social on Tues as your truly racked up 10,040 on in Horsham league, then less than 3k on my own top night after???
A good laugh regardless of the table food was good company was great.
