The Plate was won by The Swan (Worthing) who beat The Dun Horse (HBBL) 4-1 at the Blue Ship
Many thanks for entering, I hope you all enjoyed this friendly competition, and am looking forward to entering next summer's competition

A close match indeed with the Roffey replicating their semi-final win - Silverfox being well beaten in the Singles but keeping it together at the end in the doubles.
Even then, 800 behind on a difficult table with the bar due, Lady H managed 640 including skilfully leaving herself one ball for the last shot - but was sadly let down by the 'dead' left hand cushion.
Silverfox went for the 100 on the other side and potted it at the first attempt.
Congrats to champions Roffey BB, and commiserations to the White Hart - who incidentally had won their semi-final 5-0.
Tony Temple made the presentation, and our thanks to the Railway for hosting the final and providing sandwiches.

Swan 4 Dun Horse 1
Congratulations to The Swan & thanks for a great night Paul was our sole winner in a see saw first leg against Chris Scott. After that we were ever so slightly out classed as Ian Lelliot put in 12810 followed by Dave France 8290. the 2 doubles games were also much the same.
They were worthy winners & also enjoyed the night.
Thanks to The Blue Ship for the hospitality as always.
Heres to next year.
