I thought you might be interested in what I find as I tackle them: Tables delivered by Dave Alder yesterday, where would this game be nationally without him!! 36B Poorly repaired uneven top surface break, fortunately out of the play area, wooden brace and sag across the centre line suggests a hairline crack that I have not spotted yet. 230B Flat slate but poorly dressed (rough and no shine to surface), wooden surround in poor battered condition and has been reinforced, I may need a lot of plastic wood on this one to give me a more even surface to staple on the wooden surround. The pictures give you some idea of the amount of chalk that gets through the cloth over time especially when they are not regularly brushed when used. Some damage to leg screw bases where the legs are allowed to fall and wallop the floor when the tables are dismantled. Hirers take note!! Sav

You're a brave man Sav taking that lot on - well done! Errr...just how big IS your garage?? ;D And I agree 100% with you about Dave and I know the answer too!!
I'd offer to help but we're not good enough for All-England tables yet..... :-/
