I beat the Old Fella 2-0 at the Sportsman tonight.
Many thanks to Ros & Trevor for preparing the table (which was lovely! ;D) and especially Ros for scoring - much appreciated! :)
The Sportsman is looking really nice since it has been re-decorated, add in the good food, excellent landlord and a good bar billiards table and you have the recipe for a good evening out!! ;) ;D

Well we have an all Hurst final after last nights match aginst Sir Jock.
I won 2-0 on what was being a tricky top. I managed to settle on the top before Jock did.
I have to say i am looking forward to finals night as for the semi final we had live music - Desperat housewives i believe they were called. They were very good apart from on one particular note! As it almost put Jock through the wall as he was eyeing up his next shot.

A Warrior v Reaper final ! 8-) 8-)
Well done to both of you, and condolences to the losing semifinalists.
It's turning out to be a cracking Mid Sussex season, despite all the problems we've had about 'difficult' tables etc..........

Well done to Kev for a well played match, he did indeed settle on a disgraceful table, a lot quicker than I, which is testimony to just how good he really is, not a particularly high scoring match although Kev did manage to scrape 4k in the second over a couple of visits, I black pegged in both games and conceded the second game after black pegging again, shocker of a table should never have been included in a semi final draw!!!
Desperate Hurstwifes was the name of the singing trio, name on account of them all living in Hurstpierpoint somewhere, and yes there was much dancing and singing by the Jockster after said losing of match, and that note, oooouuuuch!!!! Glad I wasn't going for the 200 I nearly jumped clean over the table!!!!! Very Very best of luck to you both in the final, should be a cracker!!!!
