Hope to be playing again by then, but don't think I'll be up to an all-day comp unfortunately.

Kev,
I text you at the weekend but don't know if you got the message. Unfortunately I am unable to play at the weekend for both the masters and the off the spot. I should still be there to support. My shoulder is dislocated and I'm still waiting to hear if anything else is wrong. I almost certainly need surgery on it. See you then and hope you can find a replacement ok.
Adam

I'll give you a game Kev - but there must have been about 50 drop outs for me to be in there!

Excellent day at the Dolphin run excellently as usual by Kevin.
Well done to Jim Greensted on his first masters win overcoming Chris Tupper in the final. Martin Smith won the plate and runner up was Dave France.
The B Masters was won by Lorenzo Hickman who beat Bob Thomas in the final. The plate was kept in the family with Pete Hickman beating Ros Appleby.
A high break went to Nigel Senior with 18k +. The B high break went to Loz Hickman with his first ever 10k break.

Congratulations on winning the masters, And well done on the 10k break, Pity i was victim to it but felt watching you that you were going to play the table out to be honest. Really well played and a deserved winner.

Thanks Clive, Lewis & Gareth, I hope this is not just a peak and I can carry this through to Jersey and the remainder of the Prem this year and beyond.
Unfortunately in off the spot today I was well and truly out classed by Martin Smith in the final, but hey I still walked away with a piece of silverware! :)

There will be setbacks, but the difference is that now you know that you can do it, and you've made a bit of history that nobody can take away from you.
Speaking recently to Ian Lelliott, who seems to be winning everything in sight at the moment, and he says he's just hit a purple patch which won't last forever, but he's just enjoying every minute of it while it lasts: a great attitude to have.
