Brighton A v Worthing B are reversing the fixture due to problems with the tap table. No suprise there Kev, just wish i changed my venue for my singles game last night. The table rolled unbelievably right after apparantly being moved at the weekend. ???

Littlehampton 2 Mid-Sussex A 5
Dave Simmonds 7,500 - 2,670 Andy Farmer-Wright A nice 3k opener from Dave, followed by another 4k to make sure with Andy hitting 2.5k towards the end. 1-0 :(
Paul Olver 4,730 - 5,860 Henry Brooks H missed his 2nd break shot, Paul didn't take advantage straight away but hit a steady 4k at his next visit. H got the balls straight back to get just under 2k then another 3.5k to seal the win. 1-1 ;D
Simon Mills 3.410 - 6,870 Graham Sparksman Sparky off at just over 1k when he totally mis-hit the break, but was back on almost straight away for another 2k. Simon replied with 2.4k but let Sparky back in for a couple of breaks of just under 2k to take the game. 1-2 ;D
Alan Messer 1,340 - 2,960 Lorraine Hall Alan left both balls short with his first shot, Lorraine scored a few then Alan got the break back again.... but left both balls short again on his 2nd turn. :o Neither player settled after that but Lorraine kept more of her points to win the game. 1-3 ;D
Jason Clough 3,840 - 7,530 Derek Taylor A very solid 4.7k opener from Derek followed up by another 2.7k. Jason got the balls back and played the table out for his score. 1-4 ;D
Dave Hampton 7,740 - 3,830 Dave Ingram I opened up with just over 2k, had another chance to get the break back but mis-judged a slight left hand roll. Mr H was quick to punish me rolling in a lovely 7k+ break leaving me enough time to add a few at the end. 2-4 :-[
Hayley Tunstall 1,950 - 2,770 Pete Edwards Neither player settled, with Pete getting an all-important 1.3k break near the end to win. 2-5 ;)
Enjoyable evening in good company. ;D

Worthing C 4 Brighton B 3
An entertaining evening with the table being the real winner as nobody really settled and scores were all bits and peices with no significant breaks. Good banter and with Gina our landlady having been rushed into hospital Saturday ( being kept in for a few days ) we sent out for pizzas.
Rick Cunningham 3480 1610 Doug Dawson 1-0 Dave Jones 2390 4950 Bella Stoner 1-1 Adam Squires 2300 6380 Alan Brackenridge 1-2 Steve Aylmore 3290 4990 Mick Hall 1-3 Tony Jenner 2440 2070 Sandra Race 2-3 Eric Butler 2230 1970 Jean Brackenridge 3-3 Gina Sherratt 4210 2030 Terry Molloy 4-3.

Tunbridge Wells 3 Worthing `A` 4
A very entertaining match at the Imperial last night with Worthing maintaining their 100% start to the season. What a great table this is.
Brian Stevens 12,420 Tony Lewis 2,630 - Brian was the first of many that went in with a winning break tonight. He started with 9,220 and added another 3k at the end. 1 - 0
Martin Leach 0 Barry Holt 16,900 - Barry opened with 10,870 and added another 6k at bhis next visit. 1 - 1
Pete Sainsbury 3,780 Ian Lelliott 11,330 - Another winning opener, this time 11,250 by Ian. Pete made a 3k break late on. 1 - 2
Neil Chamberlain 13,350 Stu Mepham 2,210 - Again, a cracking opener with Neil setting 9,890. Stu made a quick 2k before Neil added another 3k. 2 - 2
Vinny Mitchell 5,770 Neil Higgins 1,820 - This one didn`t quite follow the script. Neil had a massive kick on his second break sequence. Vinny pegged his reply. Neil got them back, but this time missed a ball behind the 10 hole. Vinny went for a three downer which came off and began to set a target. He rode his luck a little with a whipper out of the hundred hole but managed to put the point beyond Neil`s reach. 3 - 2
Martin Russell 2,210 Martin Smith 12,750 - Battle of the Martins saw Smith open up with 10,250. Russell made a quickfire 2k before Smith added another 2k at the end. 3 - 3
Ian Wright 7,040 Kt 10,100 - So 2 valuable points up for grabs, all down to the lucky last! Ian started with 4,380 but then left both balls up on the one-up. I got them straight back and made a steady 10k before touching on. Ian finished off with another 2k+.
Great evening as always with the TW boys and as usual, the Corned beef hash filled our tummies for the long trek home ;D
