Worthing A 3 - 4 Brighton A
A good victory for Brighton A with a Worthing A team full of great players.
Barry had the break in the first but came off early, Dave reeves got the balls back and made a few to take the lead. Barry never really got to grips with it , Dave made a few more and took the win 0-1
Little Reeves went off with a good few 5-6k to keep Ian Lelliott in 2nd place 0-2
Nige had the the break in the third and kicked off with enough against KT 0-3
Martin Smith had the break in the 4th but missed early, Lloydy did not take advantage and the game became scrappy, Martin got the balls back and finished it off 1 -3
I played Mal in the fifth and I kicked off with enough. 1 - 4
Tupper time did not last very long with him missing his opening break, Tony Lewis took control and killed it off 2 - 4
Roger Taylor played Rick Dewdney in the 7th, Roger played well and won without too much trouble 3 - 4

Littlehampton 5 - 2 Brighton B Good win for Litllehampton on a tricky home top which Brighton struggled to get on with, wins for Dave Simmonds, Jason Clough, Steve Beach, Alan Messer and Dave Hampton. Well done, team. Jason set up the victory with a win in the first game against the break, then Alan clinched it in the fifth to put us 4 - 1 up. Terry Molloy showed the rest of his team how to play the table with a convincing win against the break in the last game.

Brighton C 2 - 5 Worthing D
Good win for Worthing D away fom home.
G. Mehan v H. Brewster Heln couldn't get going in this one. Gary played well for his win. 5480 - 1320. 1-0
C. Pemberton v B. Thomas Two 2K+ breaks from Bob saw him win this game while Chris had some bad luck. 1620-5240. 1-1
W. Prior v A. Squires Adam off early. Game then became a bit scrappy with each getting a further go at the break. Adam got the break back towards the end to win. 1280-3010. 1-2
B. Mehan v G. Iles Both players found it hard to adapt to the table with plenty of goes for each one. 2800-1850. 2-2
M. Pope v M. Senior Mark opened up with 4K+. Micky couldn't get the break back. mark returned to the table only to lose a 3K+ break. Micky got the break back only to four time it. B/P-4870. 2-3
B. Mugeridge v C. Cox. Chris off early. Both players had further goes at the break but couldn't make a big enough score to seal the game. Chris finally managed to score enough to get head in front at the bar. Well done Chris for his first Inter League win. 3370-3800. 2-4
S. Woods v D. Anscombe Captains game to finish the evening. Sheena off after on 1K. Dave then proceeds to miss the easy shots but finally gets game together and runs out the winner. 2340-4430. 2-5
Well played Worthing D. :) :) :) :)

Very good win for Worthing D against a number of experienced players for Brighton C. Good to see Chris Cox off the mark and young Adam carrying winning ways.

Played a week late due to Redhill Invitation commitment.
Tunbridge Wells 2, Redhill A 5 at the Imperial, Southborough.
Didn't take any scores but this was a great evening. What a friendly bunch ! Great atmosphere, great table (thanks to the Professor for the masterclass, b.t.w.) and great food afterwards - generous helpings of corned beef hash.
All crowding round the arcade quiz machine afterwards - spot the difference between the pictures of scantily-clad females. Recording the score afterwards on the Leader Board - whose name should appear ? Nigel Senior's ! :o :o :o ;D ;D ;D

Got there early due to spending the weekend in Kent, so had to do something to pass the time!

Re arranged game in Div Two from last weekend due to Redhill Invitation.
Lewes 4 Worthing C 3
An evening where I think we will have to say the table was the overall winner, only Rick Bithell got hold of it at all and all games could have probably gone either way.
Dave Todd * 1590 Edge Butler 3100 0-1 Rick Bithell 4540 Rick Cunningham* 1650 1-1 Dave Knight 2520 Steve Aylmore* 1930 2-1 Jan Bithell* 3530 Dave Jones 1660 3-1 Dereck Taylor BP Tony Jenner* 3500 3-2 Richard Todd 1270 Gina Sherratt* 3540 3-3 Marcus Chipman* 2130 Arthur Brewster 1270 4-3 15580 16650
Well played Lewes who held their nerve and played the right shots at the vital moments during the close games.
