Here is the final table and the champions are....Brighton :D Well done from me to our captain Chris and our two super subs, the Chubbster and Pete Brown who did mre than we could have expected from them. Thanks to Sparky for his help today, and we got the room clear by 7.15pm which was a great effort. The Roffey Club was a great venue for the 2 weeks competition and I hope we use it again in the future.

Congrats to Brighton and to Runners-up Worthing.
Well done to the organisers on keeping to a tight schedule, it ran like clockwork.
Agree the venue is a good'un, plenty of room for manouvring - apart from some tables being near to the obstacle of the stage. Hope Tony Lewis's bruises aren't too big in the morning. :o
Good to see the Chubbster put in a rare appearance - it's been too long, don't be a stranger. ;)

Just a big well done to my team for a fantastic performance yesterday.
It is a hard tournament to win, even with a full strength squad, so to win it without Richard or Lloydy was even more rewarding.
All of the team played well, gaining some crucial points. I will echo Nige's comments regarding Chubbster and Pete Brown. Glenn was superb coming back from a year off, and Pete got some important legs off some very good players.
Big thanks to Sparky and Nige for running the day so smoothly.
P.S. come on Chubbster, you know you want to come back to the game!

I echo everyones comments about the event, great venue and very well run thanks to Nigel and Graham and a great day out. Only one thing which i thought let the day down was the lack of some nice grub, but what they did do was very nice. Congratulations to Brighton for winning and also to Littlehampton for finishing 3rd with our new look team if we had had a little more luck i reckon we could of come second, bring on next year.

Well done to Chris and the Brighton lads. I still fancied our chances going into the last match against Littlehampton 2 points behind, but it wasn`t to be.
Tables i thought were very good, number 4 was a bit of a challenge, nothing that a little left-hand side wouldn`t cure.
Graham deserves a BIG WELL DONE for all his hard work throughout both days and also to the other organisers. The Roffey club is excellent, could be there for a few years i think ;)

Thank you all and I too think it is a great venue....grub improvements next year is on the cards....I enjoyed being worn out for the 3 days I went but will take a sleeping bag if I do that again ;D ;D ;D
I think Nigel & Jean did a great job with the PC programs and made it easy for me to help them.
I would also like to congratulate everyone that went, players and supporters, for making all the events enjoyable with the usual high standard of friendliness and competitive balance that is such a compliment to Bar Billiards.
