Worthing C v Eastbournewas a last minute cancellatiion am awaiting a call from Gary to explain what happened. I was already at the Schooner preparing for the match when my good lady rang and said Gary had phoned home and said Eastbourne would not be coming. Pretty poor show at a late hour considering the landlady had prepared the food, and interested locals had turned out to see what the game was all about. As I say Gary is suppose to be ringing me today, from that conversation I will make a decision as to whether to re- arrange or not. Do not mind cancellations, but surely more notice would be the order of the day.

Unfortunately Mid-Sussex B couldn't follow the example of our A Team.
Mid-Sussex B 2 Billingshurst 5 :(
I haven't got the individual scores, but I'm sure that Ian G will post them here soon.

Worthing B beat Tunbridge Wells 4-3 at the Swan.
Dave France took the 6th against the head and Matt Squire kept his nerve to take the 7th.
I didn't play 8-)

Well played Mid Sussex A. You beat us all ends up last night.
Don't quite know what happened. We just didn't play, or even turn up. :'( :'(
This is the first time I have been on the end of a 7-0 thrashing so I am a bit embarrassed :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
But again well played you guys.

We felt much the same as you after they beat us (Mid-Sussex B) 6-1 earlier in the year, although at least you don't have to listen to them bragging about it every week at League matches....!! ;)
