Good luck to all taking part in the weekend's events.
Don't be shy about stepping forward to score games: With the biggest line-ups for years (seven teams on the Saturday and six on the Sunday) they will be long days - and willing scorers will minimise delays between rounds and this in turn will enable the smooth running of the competitions.
But most of all, enjoy the tables - and yourselves ! Hot food available this year, by the way. 8-)

Just a note of thanks to Jean and her team for an excellent day today.
Well done to Brighton B for a great win.
Myself, Terry and Alan won six out of six and Jean, Sandra and Chris won five out of six.
Special thanks to Bella for paying all the other teams top players. :)

Congratulations to Brighton B who won the B Team One Day Interleague competition yesterday. ;D
Final Table Pos...Team............ Played.....Won.....Lost.....Points 1/ Brighton B 6 6 0 35 2/ Worthing B 6 4 2 28 3/ Redhill B 6 5 1 24 4/ Worthing C 6 3 3 22 5/ Mid-Sussex B 6 1 5 16 6/ Brighton C 6 2 4 14 7/ Redhill C 6 0 6 8
Four players won all 6 of their matches, lead by Alan Brackenridge (Brighton B with an average of 8,052), Terry Molloy (Brighton B, 7323), Bill Kerr (Worthing B, 6222) and Doug Dawson (Brighton B, 3602).
Jean Brackenridge (Brighton B, 5 wins, average 6862) and Sandra Race (Brighton B, 5 wins, average 3525) were the leading ladies on the day.
The day was superbly run by Jean & Alan which ensured everything started spot on time (despite the efforts of a couple of players who arrived late for their matches! ::)) and the venue was superb, as always. ;D
Many thanks also to Colin Robbins and his team for the fantastic food, Tarratts for supplying some brand new tables (much better than those at the Sussex Comps! 8-)), the Norfolk for the loan of their table (and John Miller who helped arrange that) and Nigel, SirKT, Sparky and Colleen who helped to set the tables up. ;D

well done Brighton B on such a high scoring win. agree a very well run day the last round starting 5 min ahead of time Jean & Alan did a fantastic job including the many hours spent devising the format for 7 teams. it was a strong field.
I'm very proud of Mid Sussex B who came 5th with some enjoying their first 1 day interleague event. A massive congratulations to young bobhall on his first 10K set in the last game on the Roffey Club table I guess you found the button ;D Also to Trevor Rees with 4 out of 6 Jenny & Adam who made 3 out of 6

3Yes well done indeed Brighton B who had it won before the last series of games where they had a bye. Good alround team performance with Doug Dawson, Molly and Alan Brackenridge unbeaten. Second place went to Worthing B who put in another good team performance from a team that only comprised two regular home and away inter league B players. Top performance from Bill Kerr who continued his fine record at this event by being unbeaten. Good to see seven teams, well run by Jean who despite that extra pressure played excellently all day. The food was welcome and very good, the club hospitable, tables a very fair test, and hope those who formed teams to gain experience enjoyed the day.
