Congratulations to Brighton on their victory yesterday, some very close games and an exciting finale to the day...... 8-)
Many thanks to Jean & Alan for all their hard work over the last couple of weekends in running the One Day Competitions.... and for getting all of the match results over to me so quickly for the Sussex Website. ;D
Also thanks to Sparky and his helpers for setting up the tables, all of which seemed to offer a fair challenge to all of the players over both weekends, Dave Alder and the AEBBA for supplying the tables (and packing them away very quickly on the Sunday night when they were under a lot of pressure from people who wanted to start dancing... ::)), Colin & Brenda for the usual excellent food and the Roffey Club for their hospitality. ;)
All of the results are now on the Sussex Website (www.sussexbarbilliards.com) together with the latest Mens & Ladies Rankings. 8-)

Nothing much further to add really (the first two posts have said it all) so just to say that the event was made all the more enjoyable by the friendliness of the atmosphere, with much banter creeping in - especially towards the end of the day.
Dave (BBW) deserves a pat on the back too for the speed at which he has collated the information and got it all on to the Sussex website, while the news is still fresh.
Congrats to Brighton and the runners-up Worthing.
