Henry Brooks 21820 - 980 Peter Burchell Congratulations H for hitting the highest score in the history of Mid-Sussex League. 8-) I hope that you haven't worn the table (or yourself!) out before the Watney Mann Final on Friday night.... :o ;D ;D

Well done Henry, a pleasure to watch even though it was against us.
I am sure you could have done it in one break but as it was the decider you made sure of the win first.

Watermill Phoenix 0 - Watermill 5
Nigel 840 - Martin 4750 A nice break from The Flying Dutchman set up a good match for the 'Away' team. Nigel unlucky on a few occasions but a nice nearly 2k break from TFD gave the first point to the Mill.
Debbie 1090 - Paul 1920 Both players found the break a bit tricky. Paul with a nice break took the lead. A great break from Debbie near the end not quite enough.
Malcolm 2460 - Kim 6380 Kim off to a great start with 2760. Malcolm put together some nice breaks to tighten the match. 3190 from Kim put the game out of reach. Good play from both players.
Adrian 1440 - Mark 1600 Adrian off well from the break then one of those games with all the balls at the back of the table. Ended up with the final ball to win and after probably 7 goes each I finally managed to hole out. Frustrating for both of us but a good game.
Jan 1020 - Lyn 1310 Another game with the balls being hugely unfair to both players. This one could of gone either way but Lyn managed a good win to seal all the point for the Watermill.
Many thanks to Adrian and the team for a great evening and we wish them luck for the rest of the season.

Cheers for the write-up Sparky. Yes, a most pleasant evening at the USC, well played to your team.
I shall add to those voices congratulating H. A superb effort. Considering your oppent had the break and you touched up halfwway through you must have been playing at lightning speed. Very well done.
