Fresh Light Oak octagonal legged acquisition rescued from Scotland whilst Sav was in the Lake District.
Looks a cracking table rather than cracked. It will be worked on when my new workshop is up and running in a couple of weeks. It's stuck in the van now as no space to put it in the garage so cannot take a picture.

No it was privately owned by a very nice couple in Blairgowrie. It was down in a basement so an absolute swine to get up a narrow double right angle staircase.
[off topic] The other table I picked up for new member Nigel from the Six Bells SN14 8DD near Chippenham was not on the map.

Started having a look at this one today and it looks in very good condition having had a major refurb at some point.
All of the leg sockets have been re-sleeved, which I have never seen before. The leg threads are in perfect condition, though I'll have a look at the sleeving as an AEBBA battering of them worries me.
Slate looks A1.
Hope to be able to attend the 'Old Gits' next week and bring it along then.

Sounds like it was a sound purchase by AEBBA, then. 8-)

Working on this Bar Billiards Ltd supplied table today.
Cushions perished and nailed on again, looked like corrugated iron! Front corner block missing on left causing damage to clock seating. Hydraulic support only attached by one screw Rear Hinges all pulled loose and poorly seated.
Removed internal hinges and replaced with some heavy duty external wing hinges to the leg post to get around the rear wall weakness. Will do this to an AEBBA table on Sunday as well.
Drilled new holes in lock face to secure lock.
Made and fitted corner block.
Reseated top means that corner blocks and lock latch had to be repositioned.
Remounted support arm.
Adjusted clock out from 12 mins.
Glued ont of the unusual leg sleeves in place.
Rerubbered two cushions, third had been done!
Tea break over, onto recovering. It's still a nice table.

682 is finished and will be delivered Sunday.
To my disgust on the last thing on the last table I marked the baulk line in the wrong place :-[ :-[ So you won't be seeing double on Sunday no matter how much you had on Saturday night ;D

Right hand thirty pocket reported as slightly proud. Sav Had a look yesterday at Kent and the cup is slightly proud, table may have been picked up by the pocket before plaster had fully dried. Tapped it down a little so that there was no lip, but it may spring back. Sav
