Guys, I am pretty sure that Romans have no team for tomorrow as Dave Roberts seems to think that the Bartrums are away and he didn't know about the fixture - might be worth someone checking tomorrow as it might save the Marine View a trip

Yes you`re right Matt, it has been postponed, but officially this time. With the Bartrams still away, they struggle to put 5 players out.

What a lovely table!
Neil Higgins 850 Matt Knight 3510. 0-1 Neil took a peg on 6k which would have won the game, after Matt left the balls up on the one-up.
Graham Lewis 6500 Colin Green 4780 1-1 A steady game for Graham which both players had equal chances
Paul Barnett 4300 Pete Brown 6040 1-2 Again chances for both players Pete on the table with break back towards the end although a doggy split when not needed nearly cost Pete the game.
Tony Burgess 2610 Chris Lucas 5790 1-3 A great game for Chris who gained confidence in every break.
Gary Ridley 6680 Dave Jones 3160 2-3 Gary scored a break of 5k to win the game

Cellar Bar B v Cellar Bar A
Jean * off at 1.5k Steve A added 2k, and first to get them back, Jean got them back near ens put in good chase but hit black peg going for 200. 5120 - BP 1 -0
Bill * off at 2k, Colleen got them back but underhit one up, Billadded enough to win 5760-1390 2-0
Lorraine * of at just over 1k but Terry M had a mare and Lorraine kept adding a few to make sure 1760-4380 1-2
Rick * opened with 3k, Bella did not get them back and Rick added another good break to make sure 10970-900 3-1
Sheena * off ay just over 1k, TJ break back only to peg it, Sheena added another 1k before TJ got them back but an awful shot when just level sealed his fate, BP -2980 2-3
A good evening with the A team, nice sandwiches and potatoe skins, and TJ only having to politely reminded an idiot local to keep out of the players way, yes it was polite this time even said excuse me!!!! Result could have gone either way, pity the door stays open during the wet days ay the Cellar as hard to get the danp out even after 4 irons.
