Bletchington A 2  Lamb & Flag A 3
Bletch came back well from 2-0 down with wins by Geoff Powell who beat Steve Walker 6830-5180 in a thrilling game and Pete Soanes who kept Jon Bamsey off the break to win 4450-2190.  I won the last to take the match.

Lamb & Flag B 1  Royal Oak A 4
Surprisingly low-scoring match at the Flag with the dependable Alan Heather taking the first for the home team and the Oak taking the rest

Royal Oak B 3  Bletchington B 2
Solid 3-2 for the Oak B with Tony Williams (4810) top scoring for the Oak and Enid Wain (5460) for the Bletch B team

Masons, N/Leigh 0  Plough, Finstock 5
A bad draw for the Masons and another low scoring affair.  It was damp in West Oxfordshire last night.... :-/

Week Two 25.10.2012

Bletchington B 3  Lamb & Flag B 2
A good two points for the Flag B at Bletch with Steve Leonard and Alan Heather taking the away points.  Scott Gillam top-scored with 4380

Plough 3 Bletchington A 2
Phil Chapman opened with a 6920 victory for Plough and Geoff Powell (6650) and Colin WInstone (4340) won well for the visitors

Royal Oak A 4  Masons 1
Four solid points for the Oak with Stacky Barton starring for the Masons, beating Terry Cook 5310-4150 to take the third

Lamb & Flag A 5  Royal Oak B 0
Table much better this week after minor adjustments.  Paul Laithwaite (10290) and Jon Bamsey (9180) were the best of the bunch with Tony Williams unlucky to lose to Tony Willis in the last

Week Three 1.11.2012

Bletchington A 3  Royal Oak A 2
First win for Bletch A with Shaun Brookbanks, Colin Winstone and Pete Soanes taking the points.  Terry Cook (7810) and Alfie Sykes (5550) responded well for the Oak

Masons 3 Bletchington B 2
First win for the Masons in a low-scoring game at North Leigh.  Matt Hawkins, Ray Ayres and Stacky Barton won for the home team with Scott Gillam and Pete Collett responding for the Bletch team

Royal Oak B 4  Lamb & Flag B 1
Another good home win for the Oak B with steady wins from Nick, Ebby, Tony and Fred.  The reliable Alan Heather took the lone point for Flag B against the break

Lamb & Flag A 4  Plough 1
Flag were one short due to illness but still managed a 4-1 win against arch-rivals ;D  Jon Bamsey (15090) and Tony Willis (11610) played well with the other games being very close.
